Privacy Policy
This policy explains what the NukkadShops GRN app (Android and iOS) and the GRN website (together, “the app”) collect, why, and what you can do about it. The app is provided by Nukkad Shops Technologies (India) Private Limited (“NukkadShops”, “we”), Hyderabad, India.
The app lets staff of businesses that use NukkadShops Retail POS or DINO POS record goods received from suppliers: you photograph or upload a supplier invoice, the app reads it, matches it to your POS items, and creates a goods receipt (GRN) in your POS.
What we collect
- Sign-in details: your POS username, the business and store you sign in to, and a session token. Your password is sent to your NukkadShops POS to sign you in; the app does not store it.
- Invoices: photos, PDFs or other files of supplier invoices that you capture or upload.
- Receipt details: the supplier, items, quantities, prices and taxes read from invoices or entered by you, and the goods receipts you submit.
- Invoice-reading balance: your business’s prepaid balance, the invoices read and what each cost.
- Payments: when you recharge the balance on our website or Android app, the payment record (amount, date, Razorpay order and payment IDs). Card, UPI and bank details are entered with Razorpay and never reach us. The iOS app does not sell anything.
- Drafts on your phone: unfinished receipts are saved on your device so you can continue later.
We do not collect your location, contacts, or advertising identifiers, and the app contains no advertising or third-party tracking.
Camera and photos
The app uses the camera and photo library only when you choose to capture or pick an invoice. It does not access other photos.
How we use it
- To read invoices and match them to your POS items and suppliers.
- To create goods receipts and update stock and item details in your NukkadShops POS.
- To bill invoice reading to your business’s prepaid balance and show you your usage.
- To keep the service secure, fix problems and provide support.
We don’t use your data for advertising, we don’t track you across other apps or websites, and we don’t sell your data.
Who processes it
- Anthropic (Claude) reads the text of invoice images on our behalf. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models.
- Razorpay processes recharge payments on our website and Android app.
- Amazon Web Services hosts our servers.
- Your NukkadShops POS receives the goods receipts, items and suppliers you save.
We may also disclose information when required by law.
How long we keep it
- Invoice files: up to 12 months, so you can look at a receipt’s invoice later, then deleted.
- Goods receipts: kept in your POS as part of your business records.
- Balance, usage and payment records: kept as long as required by tax and accounting law.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access is limited to your business’s POS users with the right permissions.
Your choices
To ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted, write to support@nukkadshops.com. The app has no separate account to delete: your login is managed in your NukkadShops POS. Uninstalling the app removes drafts saved on your phone.
Children
The app is a business tool and is not intended for children.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date above.
